2022 Prospect Profile: Kenneth Walker
Kenneth Walker is a fantastic runner with great college production. But he’s undersized and doesn’t apparently possess the ability to contribute as a receiver. Even among great college runners, that combination is often a death sentence for a player’s potential to be a high-end fantasy contributor.
2022 Devy Rushing Efficiency: Zach Charbonnet
Zach Charbonnet is a big dude with four-star pedigree and years of hype fueling his value in devy leagues. But he’s never been that good of a runner in college. You should exercise a lot of caution when considering rostering him. Name brand value aside, he’s probably just bad.
2022 Prospect Profile: Rachaad White
After he came in to the Combine at 214-pounds, I am fully in on Rachaad White as one of the best running backs in this class. He has the best blend of production, athleticism, rushing efficiency, and receiving chops of any 2022 back. Yes, even better than Breece Hall.
2022 Devy Rushing Efficiency: Tank Bigsby
I’d be steering clear of Tank Bigsby at the top of drafts. The risk presented by his awful showing last season is too much for me to stomach with a premium pick.
2022 Prospect Profile: Kennedy Brooks
Ronald Jones is probably Kennedy Brooks’ ceiling. He’s a decent runner, but guys who are decent runners and don’t do much else are a dime a dozen in the NFL.
2022 Rookie RB Efficiency: Trestan Ebner
Trestan Ebner is a guy I’m seeing no buzz on in this rookie class. He’s got good size and has one of the more impressive receiving profiles among 2022 running backs. But the ability as a ballcarrier probably isn’t there.
2022 Rookie RB Efficiency: Greg Bell
Greg Bell was not particularly good at Arizona Western, Nebraska, or San Diego State. And I can’t imagine he’ll be particularly good with the New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, or whoever else decides he’s worth a shot as a camp body. Don’t take him in your rookie draft.
2022 Rookie RB Efficiency: Tyrion Davis-Price
Tyrion Davis-Price looks like a big, prototype runner in the NFL, but he doesn’t have the skillset or college resumé to back up the superficialities. In the mold of Matt Jones or Jeremy Cox, he’s a big ol’ JAG.
2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Isaih Pacheco
Isaih Pacheco is just not that good at running the football. There’s no reason to spend a rookie pick on him. He was invited to the Combine for reasons beyond my comprehension.
2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Bryant Koback
Bryant Koback boasts quality size, receiving chops, and production, making him a sneaky three-down player in this running back class. I like him a lot as a taxi squad lottery ticket in this rookie class.
