2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Raheem Blackshear
Raheem Blackshear is just not a good running back prospect. His name is very cool, but he doesn’t have such redeeming qualities as a ballcarrier. Do not draft him.
2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Leddie Brown
Leddie Brown has just as good a data-based rushing profile as several more-hyped players in this class. The 2022 NFL Draft is starved for running backs with complete skillsets. Brown is an oasis in the middle of that desert.
2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Kevin Harris
Kevin Harris is no Nick Chubb or Le’Veon Bell. But he deserves far more attention as a potential late-round gem in this rookie class than he is currently getting. Given the cheap investment you’ll have to make, it’s simply irresponsible to leave a dynasty rookie draft without him on your roster.
2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Cam’Ron Harris
Cam’Ron Harris has got fine size and was a decent college player. But without possessing any traits that truly set him apart, he is probably somewhere between a special teamer and a third-on-the-depth-chart kind of guy.
RotoUnderworld 2022 Rookie Mock Draft Recap #2 – Superflex
RotoUnderworld analysts, our Patreon friends, and the Breakout Finder faithful participate in a series of 12-team, five round rookie mock drafts. This outing is the group’s first Superflex mock of the new year, which began on 2/1/22.
2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Hassan Haskins
Hassan Haskins was a fine college running back and he is now a mediocre professional running back prospect. But there’s a chance an NFL team sees the yellow wings on that navy blue helmet and gets all hot and bothered over the second coming of Matt Jones.
2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Zonovan Knight
I can’t speak to Zonovan Knight’s athletic profile until he tests at the Combine. But his production profile and receiving skillset, while not bad, are fairly underwhelming. Because of that, I don’t anticipate him being a guy that the NFL cares too much about. While a quality JAG, he’s a JAG nonetheless. And you’d do well to not fall in love with random JAGs in your rookie drafts.
Bijan Robinson is the GOAT… right?
Bijan Robinson is as close to a consensus 1.01 in devy leagues as you’ll see in any given year. The former 5-star recruit is certainly deserving of that first selection. I’m on board with the sentiment that dynasty gamers should move mountains to acquire 2023 first round rookie picks. 2023’s best? Duh. The prince that was promised? Let’s find out.
2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Kennedy Brooks
I have no idea how athletic Kennedy Brooks is gonna be at the Combine. But he’s getting zero hype, so who gives a shit. He’ll likely cost nothing in your rookie draft. And the numbers suggest he’s as good a pure runner as nearly anyone in the class.
2022 Rookie Running Back Efficiency: Tyler Badie
Tyler Badie could earn an NFL role on his merits as a pass-catcher, and he does boast one of the best receiving profiles of any back in this class. But to me, he looks like a fairly run-of-the-mill satellite back-type who had a productive senior season at a blah program after backing up Larry Rountree and Damarea Crockett for three years. You can do better in rookie drafts.
